Fox Raceway Round 1

I’ve been coming to Fox Raceway for three years now for the opening round of the Pro Motocross Championship, and the first two times my photography left a bit to be desired. The lenses I was using didnt have fast enough autofocus, I couldnt figure out the right settings, I left ISO on auto like an IDIOT, etc etc. I know a true craftsman doesnt blame his tools, but I guess thats where him and I differ. Anyways, this year I busted out what’s quickly become my favorite lens, the Sigma 100-400, and took to the track.

The first few motos I thought I was absolutely crushing it on my shots, and the later part of the day I mostly focused on enjoying the races with my lady. I dipped back down to the track for a couple closer shots during the last 250 and 450 motos and of course, wouldnt you know it, that’s where I got my best shots of the day. Isnt that usually how it works? Anyways, on the whole, I’m super pumped on how the majority of the shots turned out. Enjoy!
